Must be grown indoors or in a warm greenhouse except in the warmest climates. May reach 25-30' in height. Seeds may be very slow to germinate.

To produce the seed, flowers are individually hand pollinated and covered for protection. The seed pods are then given several months to ripen prior to collection.
